Sometimes as Career Practitioners we are so busy looking out for others we forget about ourselves.  The presenter is First Nations and wants to share how to use the Medicine Wheel to create balance in all of the four dimensions: Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, Mental.  Four aspects of everyone's nature.

The session discussion will focus on the four dimensions of balance. A handout titled “Where Am I on the Medicine Wheel?” will be shared.

The Next Question & the Evolution of CDP

Career development has evolved through two defining questions: "What is available?" and "Where do you fit?" Steve Miller's Implicit Career Search theory proposes the field is ready for a third: "What will you contribute?" This session explores how to help clients answer that question — and how to turn their answer into a career. Spoiler: it's easier than it sounds.

This interactive session begins with an engaging introduction that invites participants to join the conversation through the chat. A “Take Charge” exercise follows, incorporating light movement and participant responses to keep energy high. Depending on timing and group engagement, breakout discussions may be included, though a highly interactive group may carry the conversation throughout. The session concludes with a lively question period, ensuring participants have the opportunity to share insights and ask questions.
